Quality Technician - Aseptic

Location: Temple, Texas, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility. Requires rotating 12-hour day or night shifts.

What you will do

• Execute plant and corporate food safety, quality, and laboratory requirements.
• Collect in-process and finished-product samples and perform standardized qualitative and quantitative testing.
• Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination and calibrate laboratory and production-line equipment.
• Batch chemicals and ingredients, review quality records, and document test results.
• Identify and isolate products that do not meet standards and support troubleshooting of deficiencies and non-conformances.
• Participate in plant teams, including HACCP and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• No prior experience is required; experience in manufacturing, the position, or people/projects is preferred.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour day or night shifts onsite.
• Must follow GMP requirements and wear required protective clothing and equipment in production areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment or quality position.
• HACCP certification.
• Associate degree.
