Quality Technician (Food Safety)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; onsite plant-based role

What you will do

• Execute corporate and plant-specific food safety, quality, and laboratory requirements.
• Monitor food safety and quality parameters throughout the facility.
• Batch chemicals and ingredients for production and calibrate laboratory and production-line equipment.
• Collect in-process and finished-product samples and perform qualitative, quantitative, and aseptic microbial testing.
• Document testing results, review quality records, and identify and isolate products that do not meet standards.
• Troubleshoot deficiencies and non-conformances and participate in plant teams such as HACCP and Safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate's degree is preferred.
• Experience is not required; up to two years of experience in a similar manufacturing or quality position is preferred.
• English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day or night shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow GMP requirements, including wearing a company shirt, hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and hairnet in production areas.

Nice to have

• HACCP certification.
