What you will do

• Develop business intelligence, knowledge management, and performance dashboard solutions based on clinical and operational requirements.
• Analyze clinical, operational, and financial data to produce actionable insights, benchmarks, reports, and presentations.
• Build complex analytical and predictive models, automate multi-source data capture and analysis, and apply statistical techniques.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, administrators, and frontline staff to define requirements and support data-driven care improvements.
• Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate process improvement and medical technology projects, including risks, compliance, timelines, quality, and ROI.
• Coach stakeholders and establish mechanisms that sustain performance improvements after project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer engineering, or data science.
• At least 1 year of experience in business or data analytics, healthcare analytics, healthcare quality, clinical operations decision support, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of Python, R, and/or SQL, plus relational databases, spreadsheets, statistical software, analytical models, and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of operational, clinical, and financial statistics and data analysis techniques.
• Ability to derive clinical and operational insights from health system information technologies and communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.
• LA City Fire Life Safety Training is required; certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not held at hiring.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or Analytics.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with machine learning approaches for predictive modeling and advanced statistical methods.
• Advanced expertise in Tableau, QlikView, or Qlik Sense.
