IT Business Intelligence Development/Analytics Intern (Business Intelligence)

Location: Northbrook, Illinois; the 10-week summer internship runs from early June through mid-August in one of four Chicagoland corporate offices.

Salary: $23.25–$33.75 per hour

What you will do

• Gather business requirements and create detailed business requirement documents.
• Design, develop, and implement new business intelligence dashboards.
• Develop analytical tabular reports and maintain enterprise reporting solutions.
• Debug and optimize existing data flows and reports.
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal customers and IT partners.
• Analyze complex data trends and convert findings into actionable recommendations for decision-making.

Requirements

• Rising senior or junior-standing undergraduate student, with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of basic data storage and ETL methodologies and techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
