Licensed Trader (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote

Salary: CAD 60,000–75,000 per year

Fintech business focused on financial infrastructure across wealth management, payments, and capital allocation, with a CIRO-regulated securities operation serving clients across Canada.

What you will do

• Process member buy and sell orders for stocks, ETFs, and other investment products, and prepare trade tickets.
• Verify trade information, confirm member identity, correctly tag orders, and execute instructions accurately.
• Provide customer service by phone, email, and chat while investigating order questions and reporting outcomes to members.
• Process voluntary reorganization and registered-account beneficiary instructions.
• Complete internal account transfers and securities transfers to and from external institutions.
• Maintain trade records, ensure proper settlement and delivery, escalate discrepancies, and perform daily custodian reconciliations.

Requirements

• Customer service experience in banking or investments; experience supporting an app-based product is beneficial.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH).
• Completion of the 30-day CIRO training program while employed full time by a Dealer Member firm.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask and reprioritize quickly.
• Strong experience resolving customer situations.
• Bilingual English and French communication skills required.
