Private Banking Associate (Fintech)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; work arrangement includes on-site and remote work, with the proportion discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Provide administrative and sales support to one or more Private Banking Advisors.
• Serve private banking clients, handle transactional needs, respond to inquiries, and address account concerns.
• Process wires, payments, money orders, drafts, currency exchanges, cheque orders, and account-related requests.
• Investigate account activity and input credit details and loan notes into banking systems.
• Review client documentation for regulatory and bank-policy compliance and support credit renewals, reviews, and overdraft protection.
• Monitor maturities, renewals, and expiries while supporting client events and marketing activities.

Requirements

• Some experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products sufficient to answer general customer inquiries.
• Working knowledge of branch routines and related banking departments and partners.
• Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills.
• Client-focused approach with trust, teamwork, and accountability.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Canadian location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
