Investment Analyst (Multi-Asset Solutions)

Location: Hybrid work schedule in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Enter and implement portfolio trades across mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, and other investment vehicles.
• Manage daily cash flows, subscriptions, redemptions, rebalancing, reconciliations, holdings, and transaction accuracy.
• Monitor portfolio positioning against strategic and tactical asset allocation targets.
• Analyze portfolio exposures, characteristics, performance, attribution, risk, and competitive peer universes.
• Develop automation, reporting tools, and process improvements for portfolio management and investment decisions.
• Support portfolio managers with investment research, investment committee materials, product initiatives, and portfolio reviews.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in asset management, portfolio management, investment operations, or multi-asset investing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Commerce, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL for data analysis, automation, or investment applications is required.
• Knowledge of order management and portfolio reconciliation, with experience supporting institutional or retail portfolios preferred.
• Ability to work with investment platforms and market data systems such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, Charles River, or Aladdin.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA charter.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
