Industrial Maintenance Technician 1st Shift - Chardon, OH

Location: Chardon, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Chardon manufacturing facility

Salary: $28–$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Hiring bonus: $1,000, paid as $500 after three months and $500 after six months.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in the manufacturing facility.
• Install and configure AC and DC drives.
• Troubleshoot 480V three-phase motor circuit controls and perform basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established program outlines.
• Document required supplies, read technical diagrams and manuals, and verify repair accuracy and completion.
• Support production-area maintenance and other operational duties as business needs require.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Mathematical and mechanical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift or lower weights up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of a written and hands-on skills test.
