Location: Hamburg Area, Germany; hybrid flexibility with mobile working of up to 40%

Defence and Space is an aerospace company operating a large civil aircraft production site in Hamburg.
What you will do
- Manage supply chain and quality aspects of supplier contracts, including on-time, on-quality, and on-cost performance.
- Manage supplier quality approvals and verify compliance with required certifications.
- Monitor new product introductions, transfers of work, and design changes to ensure industrial qualification before serial production.
- Assess supplier capacity and capabilities, identify industrial risks, and implement recovery plans.
- Lead continuous supplier performance improvement projects and coordinate internal multifunctional and divisional teams.
- Assess suppliers during tendering and report operational performance using standard management tools.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of standard quality management methods and tools.
- Proficiency with standard productivity software, including Microsoft or Google Workspace.
- Practical experience and solid understanding of generic ERP systems.
- Ability to coordinate complex tasks and teams independently and manage stakeholder alignment.
- Strong negotiation skills and resilience under pressure.
- Professional fluency in English is required.
