Strategic Sourcing Manager

What you will do

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies covering supplier selection, qualification, rationalization, benchmarking, total cost of ownership, and risk mitigation.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, pricing agreements, performance assessments, and category procurement activities.
• Deliver cost reductions through market analysis, cost modeling, competitive sourcing, make-versus-buy analysis, negotiations, and global spend leverage.
• Build supplier and market intelligence, assess capabilities, and mitigate assurance-of-supply risks.
• Partner with engineering teams on component requirements, manufacturing options, product roadmaps, new product development, and launch readiness.
• Drive lean transformation, process improvements, sustainable cost controls, and sourcing best-practice development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in global strategic sourcing management.
• Strong global procurement experience with supplier selection, risk and compliance, negotiations, roadmap alignment, and financial analysis.
• Excellent relationship management, collaboration, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, and Microsoft Project; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
• BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; stated travel requirement is approximately 20% to 50%.

Nice to have

• ISM C.P.M., CPSM, APICS CSCP/CPIM, or equivalent certification.
• Microsoft Dynamics experience.
