Strategic Procurement Manager (Automotive)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with home office available up to 3 days per week

What you will do

• Lead sourcing boards with internal departments and align sourcing strategies.
• Own the Source to Pay process from planning and supplier selection through tendering, negotiations, and payment.
• Develop procurement guidelines, benchmarks, and category roadmaps.
• Evaluate savings potential across EU-level accounts and deliver savings initiatives.
• Improve payment terms by category and manage contract overviews and renewal plans.
• Coordinate stakeholders across hierarchy levels and build partnerships with vendors.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of procurement experience, preferably including process implementation and category management.
• Experience with technology procurement categories such as IT software, hosting, and telephony.
• Completed university studies, preferably at master's level.
• Knowledge of global procurement and experience developing strategies and business improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication is required.

• In-depth experience as a Procurement Manager.
