Field Service Engineer (Medical Device) (Baltimore, MD based Field role)

Location: US MD Remote; residency in or near Baltimore, Maryland required, within commuting distance to the airport. Onsite field support with travel up to 75%.

Pay: $37.35–$63.45 per hour, plus potential bonuses and other incentives.

What you will do

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems within the assigned territory.
• Respond to service requests, troubleshoot product and service issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Provide onsite technical guidance and training on equipment operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate system placements, upgrades, contract renewals, and communication between field and internal support teams.
• Manage service parts inventory and complete service documentation in SFDC on the same day.
• Support quality data collection and edit, write, and modify service and training manuals and SOPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with knowledge of biotechnology or biomedical industries; applicable military experience may also qualify.
• 2–5 years of relevant technical field service experience.
• Residency in or near Baltimore, Maryland, within commuting distance to the airport.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, written communication, and technical writing skills.
