MedTech Field Service Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; local travel to customer sites for up to 2–3 hours and on-call response within ticket-specific service-level agreements.

Salary: $31–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, document, and update automated medication dispensing systems.
• Replace hardware parts, perform software updates and calibrations, and complete preventative maintenance.
• Assist with installation and implementation of new devices at customer locations.
• Conduct system checks and record product test data after installation and configuration.
• Maintain and stock customer-assigned parts and tools.
• Provide on-call support, including nights and weekends, and travel to customer sites within applicable service-level agreements.

Requirements

• Intermediate troubleshooting skills in electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide customer support independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to push, pull, stoop, bend, and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing and immunization requirements, including proof of vaccination status, is required.
• An active driver's license and personal vehicle are required for job-related assignments.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience as a military technician, computer technician, complex electronics technician, or automation equipment technician in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical maintenance, pharmacy technology, electronics, electrical work, or IT.
• A+ certification.
