What you will do
- Plan and execute technical work packages in collaboration with engineers and project stakeholders.
- Develop electronic circuits, PCB layouts, cable looms, prototypes, and supporting test equipment.
- Build, test, debug, and evaluate electronic designs and hardware using laboratory methods and equipment.
- Resolve assembly and testing issues and support production industrialisation.
- Create assembly instructions, test procedures, manufacturing drawings, technical records, and product data packs.
- Maintain product integrity and traceability through engineering review and configuration-control processes.
Requirements
- National Diploma, National Higher Diploma, or BTech in Electronic Engineering.
- Practical experience in electronic hardware development, assembly, testing, debugging, and fault finding.
- Experience with electronic design and simulation tools and laboratory test equipment.
- Ability to produce or interpret electronic drawings, circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
- Skills in analogue and digital electronics, PCB routing, component selection, soldering, EMI design principles, and tolerance specification.
- Experience with Altium Designer and LabVIEW.
