Localization Manager (Japanese speaking)

Location: Fully remote, within the EU; work on your own schedule.

What you will do

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Review business and legal translations in Japanese and English.
• Perform localization and tone-adaptation quality assurance.
• Assess cultural context, etiquette, and native-fluency writing quality.
• Manage terminology and glossaries and prepare bilingual client-facing materials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Japanese-English translation, localization, or bicultural business communications experience.
• Native or near-native Japanese fluency with experience reviewing high-stakes Japanese-language business or legal materials.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship.
• Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail.
