Electrical Engineering AI Trainer (AI)

Location: Fully remote from Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, or Brazil

Compensation: Up to $40 per hour

What you will do

• Design advanced electrical engineering problems for AI training and evaluation.
• Create deterministic problems with exactly one verifiable correct answer.
• Write complete, verified solutions and document the reasoning process.
• Develop problems involving circuits, electronics, signal processing, control systems, electromagnetics, power systems, or communications.
• Create multi-step quantitative reasoning challenges that require engineering judgment.
• Validate solutions with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, or specialized engineering software where relevant.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong research or industry experience in electrical systems, electronics, signal processing, controls, communications, or power engineering.
• Strong mathematical and computational problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of circuit analysis, modeling, numerical methods, and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to design original, difficult problems that reflect real electrical engineering workflows.
• Excellent technical writing skills in English and strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, LTspice, PSpice, PSCAD, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
• Background in control theory, digital signal processing, power electronics, RF systems, or embedded systems.
• Experience evaluating model reasoning, developing benchmarks, or creating technical assessments.
