Grid Operations Coordinator (Wind Energy)

Location: Variable/mobile work location, DE; remote work is available for more than 50% of the time. Occasional travel within Canada and to Germany is required, for up to six weeks per year.

What you will do

• Oversee operations involving high-voltage grid equipment at wind farms.
• Provide technical expertise and real-time support to maintenance and installation technicians working with HV systems.
• Track intervention histories for transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and related equipment.
• Draft, review, develop, and validate work instructions and planned work procedures.
• Improve fault-resolution and alert-management processes while ensuring compliance with technical service instructions.
• Prepare equipment status reports and contribute to departmental meetings and continuous-improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience maintaining and operating high-voltage electrical grid equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French are required.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly, present to executives and employees, and work proactively and autonomously.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, customer-service, and teamwork skills.
