Manufacturing Production Process Engineer (Gas Turbine Repair)

What you will do

• Provide daily engineering support and technical leadership to the gas turbine repair shop floor.
• Own and maintain repair plans, routings, work instructions, and other process documentation.
• Review incoming orders, confirm repair capabilities, and manage authorizations for non-qualified processes.
• Troubleshoot shop-floor issues, lead quality notification activities, and act as an NCR disposition authority within delegated limits.
• Develop and improve repair processes, workflows, tooling, and equipment layouts with Production, Quality, and Engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalization, customer technical reporting, CAPEX support, and qualification activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, or pursuit of an associate degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or materials engineering.
• Experience in gas turbine repair or aerospace manufacturing and knowledge of controlled processes and standards are preferred.
• Shop-floor troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action experience are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across Production, Quality, and Engineering with clear technical communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/QMS systems such as SAP.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
