Senior Customer Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Act as the primary customer contact for quality-related topics, responding urgently to inquiries and leading containment and resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing operations, supplier quality, service engineering, and suppliers to maintain product compliance and control.
• Lead warranty, nonconformance, product audit, and quality system resolution activities.
• Analyze component failure rates, product data, quality metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate cross-functional A3 improvement projects and implement processes, tools, methodologies, and standards.
• Support New Product Introduction, manufacturing qualification through APQP, and inspection integrity using MSA and GR&R.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least five years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, including management of large customers.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools, manufacturing quality metrics, problem solving, and cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP procedures, ISO, Lean principles, and quality system audits.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and SAP business systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines; the role includes standing, walking, computer-based work, lifting up to 25–50 pounds, and occasional travel.
