Avionic Manager - Base Maintenance (Aerospace)

Airbus Helicopters UK operates a civil helicopter hub at Oxford Airport and provides helicopter sales, completions, maintenance, engineering, training, certification, and spares support for civil and military applications.

What you will do

• Certify maintenance and repairs on Airbus rotorcraft, including the H125, H135, H145, and H160.
• Manage staff adherence to company standards, policies, and engineering practices.
• Assist with production planning and supervise the battery workshop and other approved component work.
• Liaise with Part 21 functions and inspect and issue Form 1 certificates.
• Provide technical support to regional engineers and customers.
• Manage MGS and associated maintenance software.

Requirements

• Essential: Part 66 B2 licence with C certifying privileges.
• Type ratings for EC135, H135, EC145, and H145; H160 and single-group ratings are desirable.
• Expertise in engine and airframe systems and strong knowledge of UK CAA regulations.
• Strong leadership, team-building, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance are required, along with compliance with applicable Export Compliance Regulations.

Nice to have

• Degree-level qualification in an aircraft-maintenance-related subject.
• H160 and single-group type ratings.
