Maintenance Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Cramlington, Northumberland, United Kingdom; onsite at the manufacturing site

What you will do

• Set priorities and coordinate the day-to-day activities of engineering technicians.
• Support delivery of the planned preventive maintenance program and improve maintenance effectiveness.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities, resources, contractors, and work scopes.
• Prioritize projects and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize asset performance.
• Ensure safe work practices and support safety and quality investigations.
• Oversee change management, equipment issue remediation, and root cause analysis; deputize for the area engineering manager when required.

Requirements

• Relevant industry experience; cGMP knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to analyze data and prioritize work and labor resources.
• Technical writing skills for investigations, reports, and procedures.
• Strong organization and planning skills to meet priorities and deadlines.
• Leadership, integrity, resilience, and flexibility.
• CMMS familiarity and SAP experience are advantageous.
