AGGP2027 Graduate Satellite AIT Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Stevenage, United Kingdom; this is an onsite role and requires existing right to work in the UK. The position includes overseas travel for environmental test campaigns and spacecraft launches.

What you will do

• Develop toward the Satellite AIT Electrical Engineer position through a structured two-year graduate programme.
• Gain experience across spacecraft subsystems and the Satellite Assembly Integration and Test department.
• Support spacecraft subsystem integration, functional and system testing, environmental testing and spacecraft interface checks.
• Perform electrical measurements, script writing and debugging, anomaly investigations and initial test-result analysis.
• Document test results, prepare presentations and communicate technical information.
• Complete at least one rotational placement and support test campaigns and launches involving overseas travel.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Avionics, Space or a similar engineering discipline.
• Recent graduation or first professional experience in engineering.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Practical, hands-on engineering experience and knowledge of programming and scripting, including C, Java and Bash.
• Ability to produce accurate documentation and reports, investigate complex problems and make evidence-based decisions.
• Existing right to work in the UK or eligibility through another route is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
