Manager, Transformation Performance and Finance (Financial Services)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Salary: $137,400–$233,600 USD annually, plus discretionary bonus and potential equity component.

What you will do

• Own the integrated performance-management framework for the Wealth Management transformation portfolio, including delivery, financial performance, adoption, outcomes, risk, controls, and benefits realization.
• Define KPI standards, create portfolio dashboards, and prepare concise, traceable executive reporting.
• Lead annual and multi-year planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital governance, utilization tracking, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Track software, vendor, contractor, and consulting spend, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, renewals, and measurable value.
• Establish authoritative portfolio data, improve data quality and lineage, automate recurring reporting, and identify reallocation opportunities.
• Lead and develop data and financial analysts while supporting transformation investment forums and senior executives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, capital management, portfolio management, transformation performance, management information, consulting, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of people management or substantial team leadership experience.
• Experience managing capital and expense budgets, forecasts, vendor or consulting spend, accruals, variances, and executive financial reporting.
• Experience defining KPIs, managing benefits realization, and integrating financial, operational, and delivery data.
• Strong analytical and data-management skills, advanced spreadsheet capability, and experience with financial, portfolio, visualization, or business-intelligence tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, data analytics, or a related field required; experience in financial services or another regulated environment is preferred.

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant advanced credential.
