Mgr Engineering Services

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States. Primary responsibilities are performed in an office environment, with occasional travel.

What you will do

• Lead engineers and data analysts supporting operating divisions and integrity management activities.
• Analyze data and risk across approximately 75,000 miles of distribution mains and 6,700 miles of transmission pipelines.
• Maintain integrity management, laboratory testing, pipe replacement prioritization, operating, and maintenance programs and standards.
• Review projects, proposals, reports, equipment, designs, and materials for compliance with company standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee technical projects, regulatory reporting, capital project monitoring, and engineering application design support.
• Manage functional budgets, staffing, employee development, performance evaluation, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Licensed Professional Engineer certification is required.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications for creating documents, reports, and graphics; proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to communicate and influence employees, managers, senior management, customers, and regulators on technical and regulatory matters.
• Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, geometric, statistical, and financial reporting calculations.
• Valid driver's license and pre- and post-employment screenings, including DOT/PHMSA drug testing and motor vehicle record checks, are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with transmission or distribution integrity management.
• Experience with databases, MS Access, data analysis, GIS, geospatial data, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of modeling and analysis, reliability engineering, asset management, corrosion management, or NACE certifications.
