TL;DR
Pipeline Integrity Specialist / Engineer (Pipeline Integrity/Project Management): Managing integrity programs and projects for Products, CO2, and Terminals pipeline systems with an accent on in-line inspections, corrosion assessments, remediation, and repairs. Focus on developing scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk plans, coordinating contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with PHMSA regulations and industry standards.

Location: Houston, Texas, or Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hybrid schedule: Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday and Friday at home when travel is not required; occasional travel to project sites and other offices across the United States.

Salary: Position level, job title, and pay will be determined based on experience and skills.

What you will do

  • Manage pipeline integrity projects from planning through execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate in-line inspection, external corrosion direct assessment, remediation, pressure testing, and repair programs.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Manage contractor selection, bidding, construction activities, permitting, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EH&S, Accounting, Business Development, Product Movement, Land, Right-of-Way, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Provide engineering support for pipeline, facility, measurement, operational improvement, asset integrity, and equipment reliability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of engineering and/or project management experience in the oil and gas industry; 2–4 years of industry experience depending on degree.
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, independent work capability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
  • Ability to work in office, outdoor, pipeline right-of-way, compressor facility, and meter station environments, including 25–40% travel to U.S. project sites and offices.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurer.

Nice to have

  • Experience with liquids and CO2 pipeline integrity programs, pipeline remediation, construction, and pressure testing.
  • Knowledge of in-line inspection technologies, integrity assessment methods, PHMSA regulations, 49 CFR Part 195, ASME, API, and NACE standards.
  • Experience with terminals, facility and measurement operations, root cause failure analysis, and AutoCAD or similar engineering design software.
  • Advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
