Facilities Technician - First Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, compressed air, and building control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and equipment issues to support manufacturing and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Maintain infrastructure including lighting, doors, docks, roofs, floors, structural components, and utilities.
• Support equipment installation, relocation, and modification in coordination with production, engineering, and contractors.
• Manage maintenance requests, work orders, CMMS records, logs, and documentation.
• Assist with EHS inspections, audits, corrective actions, emergency response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related trade.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints and use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in manufacturing conditions including heat, noise, heights, and confined spaces.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, prioritization, safety, and reliability skills.
