Facilities Maintenance Technician - 4th Shift (HVAC)

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facility buildings, production equipment, grounds, and related systems.
• Complete carpentry, framing, remodeling, painting, drywall, roofing, window, and construction finishing projects.
• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, and grounds maintenance, including snow removal when needed.
• Operate trenchers and soil augers, install forms and header boards, and grade dirt areas.
• Document maintenance requests and preventive maintenance work, communicate incomplete tasks, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Follow environmental, health, safety, chemical-handling, PPE, and export-control procedures.

Requirements

• Commercial or industrial carpentry and framing experience; approximately two years of facility maintenance equipment experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices, mechanical systems, manual and power tools, and trade skills including electrical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, or welding.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read technical instructions, manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and construction documentation.
• Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds, stand for most of a 9–10 hour shift, and maintain regular attendance.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to drive company vehicles; travel by car or plane may be required.
• English communication skills are required, along with compliance with US export-control and ITAR access procedures. Overtime, weekend, and on-call availability is required.
