TL;DR
Lead Clinic Coordinator (Healthcare Operations): Leading clinic coordination, infusion scheduling, patient communications, and administrative operations in an oncology care environment with an accent on team leadership, scheduling accuracy, and service recovery. Focus on coordinating clinic flow, troubleshooting Epic and RTLS systems, supporting emergency responses, and resolving patient wait-time and operational issues.

Location: 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215; 100% onsite. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $57,500–$65,000 per year

What you will do

  • Serve as a role model and operational resource for Clinic Coordinators, supporting performance, training, onboarding, and team communication.
  • Coordinate infusion scheduling, scheduling mailbox assignments, floor reports, scheduling reports, and lab work queues.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling errors and serve as a point of contact for clinical and back-office staff.
  • Manage patient wait-time issues, clinic flow bottlenecks, service recovery, and challenging customer-service situations.
  • Support emergency responses, system downtime operations, office administration, supplies, patient watch lists, and infusion nurse schedule templates in Epic.
  • Troubleshoot clinical devices and systems, support the Real Time Locating System, and manage patient-use iPad inventory and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a Clinic Coordinator I at Dana-Farber for the Clinic Coordinator II progression.
  • Experience in a customer-service setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology and complex computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and multitasking skills.
  • Interest in working toward a management position and ability to adapt to an evolving clinical environment.
