What you will do

• Develop toward a Wing Structures, Systems Installation, Materials and Processes, or Wing Plant Engineering role.
• Perform static stress analysis using first principles and FEM-based methods.
• Design wing structures and systems installations using CATIA, configuration management, and DMU tools.
• Conduct fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
• Evaluate metals and composites, define coatings and sealants, support qualification, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent engineering in the plant, support non-conformances, automate processes through coding, and drive industrial improvements.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science with a 2:1 or higher.
• Recent graduation or first professional experience in a relevant field.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Interest in aerospace, civil aircraft, innovation, collaborative teamwork, and continuous personal development.
• Existing right to work in the UK or eligibility through another route is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
• Security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Relevant project, placement, or internship experience.
• Knowledge of coding and data analysis techniques.
