Senior Design Engineer - Senior Wing Fuel Systems Installation Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end wing fuel systems installation design activities, from conceptual design through product modification and optimization.
• Provide technical support to global manufacturing sites, in-service aircraft, and continued airworthiness initiatives.
• Act as a technical Approval and Authorization signatory for wing fuel system designs and production non-conformances.
• Support the development of technical signatories and expand delegated airworthiness authorities.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and transnational manufacturing teams.
• Occasionally travel to UK and international manufacturing sites.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an aerospace Design Engineer, with deep knowledge of aircraft fuel systems installation.
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5/V6.
• Experience holding technical Approval privileges and preferably Authorization signatory status in the aerospace sector.
• Strong communication, project coordination, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
• Flexible approach and willingness to travel occasionally to UK and international manufacturing sites.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with configuration and product data management tools such as PASS, DPDS, VPM, or ICC.
• Readiness to obtain Authorization signatory status.
