System Safety & Reliability Engineer Graduate (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop into a System Safety & Reliability Engineer through a two-year graduate programme starting in September 2027.
• Work with a team of more than 70 safety engineers across five European locations on safety activities for Airbus aircraft systems.
• Perform functional safety activities, including system safety assessments, failure-mode analysis, and support for design compliance.
• Prepare continued-airworthiness assessments for in-service occurrences involving fuel and landing gear systems.
• Conduct Particular Risk Analyses for wheel and tyre failure and fuel tank safety, as well as Zonal Safety Analyses of digital and physical designs.
• Collaborate with Design Office, Chief Engineering, Flight Test, Certification, Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, and Structures Engineering teams, including through at least one rotational placement.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline, including STEM fields.
• Recent graduation or first professional experience in aerospace systems or safety engineering.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Existing right to work in the United Kingdom is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
• Security clearance is required, or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.
• Curiosity, integrity, attention to detail, autonomy, collaboration, and interest in the aerospace industry.
