Contract Services provides aircraft maintenance and repair services supporting commercial, government, and Department of Defense aircraft programs.
What you will do
- Perform advanced inspections and tests of airframe, powerplant, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
- Diagnose system malfunctions using multimeters, oscilloscopes, schematic diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, disassembly, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft and engine systems.
- Replace and repair major structural components, including metal, tubing, cable, plastic, fiberglass, bonded honeycomb, and composite components.
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while following technical data, engineering instructions, safety requirements, and FAA regulations.
- Coordinate with avionics, structural, and other trades on complex repairs and communicate issues to management.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant aircraft structural maintenance experience with fixed- or rotary-wing commercial, government, or DoD aircraft.
- 5+ years of depot-level maintenance experience with the relevant aircraft system.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supporting DoD contracts and strong knowledge of depot-level maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use respirators, forced-air equipment, or other breathing equipment and to handle aerospace materials and hazardous waste safely.
Nice to have
- Air Force Specialty Code 2A773 experience.
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification.
- Advanced software application experience.
