Flight Line Avionics Technician (Aerospace)

Location: On-site at the hirify.global U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama

hirify.global manufactures commercial aircraft at its U.S. facility, including A220 and A320 Family aircraft.

What you will do

• Perform aircraft system Functional Test Procedure tests and pre- and post-flight daily inspections.
• Prepare completed aircraft for test flight readiness.
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and learn new tasks and techniques.
• Read and interpret approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Use standard and specialized hand tools, measuring devices, test equipment, jigs, fixtures, and powered or non-powered support equipment.
• Support flight line operations, including work in confined spaces, at height, and outdoors.

Requirements

• Three years of experience with applied science in avionics.
• At least five years of aviation experience, preferably in aviation manufacturing or MRO.
• A&P or FCC license, with the ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate.
• Valid driver license and basic computer operating skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to possess or obtain a valid passport allowing unrestricted travel.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an aviation manufacturing or MRO environment.
