Director, Retention Analytics

Location: Hybrid role based within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub in New York, New York; Frisco, Texas; Newport Beach, California; or San Jose, California. Onsite attendance is required as needed, likely a few times per month. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Salary: USD $152,850–$235,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Define the strategic vision, operating model, and roadmap for the Retention Analytics function.
• Lead retention forecasting, performance management, customer journey analysis, churn analysis, and loyalty trend analysis.
• Establish measurement frameworks for retention initiatives, experiments, and A/B testing programs.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Engagement, Retention, and Customer Experience leaders to improve subscriber engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.
• Modernize analytics through automation, advanced reporting, self-service insights, and collaboration with Data Engineering and Data Science.
• Build and lead a high-performing analytics team while presenting strategic recommendations to executives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in analytics, business strategy, management consulting, finance, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience, including managing and scaling high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success leading analytics functions that influence executive decisions and measurable business outcomes.
• Expertise in problem solving, forecasting, performance measurement, experimentation, and advanced business analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, plus working knowledge of SQL, Python, BI tools, and modern analytics technologies.
• Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to improve insight generation, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
