Training Manager

What you will do

• Recruit, manage, and develop the assigned training team, including performance management, work planning, and administrative approvals.
• Develop, update, and manage training materials, courseware, and certification programs.
• Lead course design projects as a subject matter expert and collaborate with process owners and other SMEs.
• Deliver classroom, web-based, technical, and blended learning programs.
• Design instructional interactions and simulations for engaging course content.
• Evaluate and improve existing training solutions, including e-learning voice-over scripts and instructional design recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Broad knowledge of wholesale or retail insurance and office automation applications.
• Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong project management, presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex information to employees, managers, and senior leaders in small and large group settings.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal and state labor laws; a related college degree is preferred.
