Peripheral Operator

Location: CT - Hartford, United States; worksite essential with all duties performed at a hirify.global office or sanctioned offsite location

Salary: $41,200–$67,900 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Operate printers, finishing equipment, material-handling machines, and mail-processing equipment under supervision.
• Prepare production control reports, queue work, and plan job layouts and required materials.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, perform service actions, and escalate problems when needed.
• Assemble documents manually, apply postage, and package materials.
• Identify sequencing, printing, stock, and production-quality issues.
• Communicate production situations and equipment delays to lead operators, team leads, and managers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of print center-related work experience.
• Basic computer skills and foundational knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• General knowledge of computer peripheral hardware or the ability to learn it.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
