Operational Excellence Engineer (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead Lean initiatives including OMS, Kaizen, 6S, value stream mapping, and OEE improvement.
• Deliver measurable improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Apply A3 methodology, root cause analysis, and data-driven insights to solve operational problems.
• Manage focused Kaizens and complex cross-functional improvement projects, including new product introduction support.
• Coach production teams in Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Maintain robust documentation, change control, risk management, and GMP compliance.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience; pharmaceutical or medical device experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, including 6S, Kaizen, and waste reduction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience delivering process improvement projects with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Hands-on technician experience with an interest in progressing into an engineering role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
