Manufacturing Product Builder (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Build subassemblies and finished medical devices, including packaging for testing, clinical investigations, and commercial release.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections according to documented procedures and standards.
• Issue materials, set up manufacturing-line equipment and fixtures, and support the Material Control System.
• Assist with in-process device testing and accurately record results and quality records in line with GDP requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve product quality and manufacturing throughput.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on product building, inspection, and testing when required.

Requirements

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent at minimum.
• At least four years of medical device manufacturing experience, including at least two years in a cleanroom, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Galway and maintain compliance with released work instructions and procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, initiative, attention to detail, dexterity, and fine motor skills.
• Ability to work effectively with light supervision while meeting quality, productivity, attendance, and schedule requirements.
• Experience with desktop software such as Excel and Word is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Third-level academic qualification.
