Rotating Equipment Engineer (Oil Production)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, United States; approximately 25% annual travel to field facilities

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for gas turbines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, fans, blowers, and other rotating equipment.
• Manage reliability-centered maintenance, preventive maintenance, equipment optimization, and EAM process support.
• Support turnaround, maintenance, facilities, and production-growth projects, including operational and economic evaluations.
• Coordinate field teams, engineering groups, contractors, vendors, and overhaul activities.
• Manage spare-part inventory plans, QA/QC documentation, maintenance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assess predictive and condition-based maintenance technologies and lead root cause analysis and lessons-learned initiatives.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience, with ten years preferred, in an oil production facility, refinery, chemical plant, or similar industrial facility.
• Experience with turbines, pumps, compressors, fans, and blowers.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, root cause investigations, preventive maintenance programs, and vibration analysis.
• Experience in contract and project management, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and contractor coordination.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred; another engineering degree or equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, follow established schedules, and apply safety considerations to decisions.
