Principal, Transaction Advisory Services (M&A)

What you will do

• Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory and financial due diligence engagements from start to finish.
• Advise clients across the merger and acquisition life cycle, including quality of earnings engagements and related solutions.
• Provide business insight, recommendations, and high-quality client service through analysis and discussion.
• Manage cross-functional teams, engagement delivery, and client profitability targets.
• Build relationships with private equity firms, portfolio companies, referral sources, and prospective clients.
• Mentor and develop associates while contributing to firmwide learning and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 15+ years of transaction advisory services experience in a professional services firm.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and financial due diligence.
• Established relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise teams, maintain ethical standards, and deliver projects with quality and urgency.

Nice to have

• Master’s or other advanced degree.
• CPA or CFA certification.
