Principal, Transaction Advisory Services (M&A)

What you will do

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and quality-of-earnings engagements from start to finish.
• Advise clients across the merger and acquisition life cycle, delivering solutions, business insight, and recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, firm leadership, private equity firms, and portfolio companies.
• Manage cross-functional engagement teams while maintaining client service and profitability targets.
• Develop new referral sources, clients, projects, and revenue through internal and external networking.
• Mentor and coach associates and support their technical and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; a master's or advanced degree is desirable.
• 15+ years of transaction advisory services experience in a professional services firm.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and financial due diligence.
• Established relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, maintain ethical standards, and deliver high-quality work on time.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA certification.
