Facilities Technician III - HQ Building (HVAC/Electrical)

Location: On-site in Mentor, Ohio, USA. Standard schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours, overtime, and 24/7 on-call support as required.

Pay: $28.67–$40.86 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing for building equipment, fixtures, utilities, and grounds.
• Maintain building security and fire protection systems while coordinating outside contractors across multiple trades.
• Monitor facility expenses, review invoices, and support the Annual Operating Plan.
• Assist with or lead environmental, health, and safety programs, training, emergency response, risk assessments, and job safety analysis.
• Provide facility support across Northeast Ohio locations, including moving furniture and equipment and handling operational tasks.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent required; applicable licenses, such as forklift certification, may be required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, project coordination, and office services.
• Broad knowledge of facility operating systems and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently, resolve advanced technical issues, and demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, including Google Workspace and function-specific software.
• Availability for on-site work in Mentor, Ohio, flexible hours, overtime, and on-call support is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of local fire safety codes.
