Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst (Banking)

What you will do

• Interview stakeholders and users, translate business goals into technical requirements, and document solution designs for analytical tools.
• Lead BI projects involving portfolio stress testing, deposit forecasting, loan portfolio analysis, risk, credit, and profitability analysis.
• Develop predictive analytical tools, ad hoc analyses, interactive reports, dashboards, scorecards, segmentation analyses, and process automation.
• Analyze business processes, recommend improvements, build consensus, and implement approved changes.
• Support data environment usage, monitor data builds and executions, and maintain documentation libraries and data catalogs.
• Validate data quality, direct issue remediation, perform quality assurance testing, and troubleshoot data issues within data governance procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance, statistics, or a quantitative field, or a bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, a quantitative field, or information technology.
• 6–8 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of banking or financial institution experience, including 2–3 years in credit, CECL, or credit portfolio monitoring.
• 2–3 years of experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, and R.
• Experience with data warehouses, analytical cubes, metadata, master data management, CRM systems, and SharePoint.
• CBAP or equivalent certification upon hire, plus completion of the required certification within one year.
