Salary: $136,200–$204,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts as a player-coach.
• Partner with retail leadership and business stakeholders to define KPIs and analytical frameworks.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into testable hypotheses, analytical plans, and actionable recommendations.
• Develop, deliver, and optimize dashboards and reporting suites using SQL and BI platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify root causes, growth opportunities, and operational improvements across pricing, capacity, scheduling, and asset utilization.
• Promote data literacy, self-service BI adoption, data quality, governance, and effective data storytelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data analytics, computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with progressively increasing responsibility.
• 2–3+ years leading projects or directly managing and mentoring analytical staff.
• Expert SQL skills and deep experience with BI platforms including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience translating business needs into analytical solutions, preferably in retail, convenience-store, e-commerce, or related industries.
• Familiarity with data preparation and modeling tools, cloud data warehouses, Python or R, statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience applying statistical techniques or basic forecasting models to customer behavior analysis or demand planning.
• Exposure to dbt or sqlmesh.
