Sr. Consultant, Business Insights (Data Analytics)

Location: Preferred office location in Columbus, Ohio with a hybrid schedule; remote candidates may be considered. The position can be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.

Salary: $138,000–$243,000 national range; expected starting salary range of $138,000–$206,000.

What you will do

• Lead analytics and reporting solutions for the Office of the Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Operations, Litigation Legal, and related business areas.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance operational and financial reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytics products.
• Translate complex business questions into analytic solutions, recommendations, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Lead complex initiatives through planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Automate reporting, optimize processes, manage data products, and support continuous improvement.
• Advise business leaders, technology teams, and data stakeholders on analytics capabilities and visualization practices.

Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years of experience in data visualization, financial and operational measurement, and data extraction queries.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, Cognos, SQL, and Python.
• Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets, databases, multiple enterprise systems, and data sources.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data engineering, data governance, data quality management, and reporting documentation.
• Strong communication, consulting, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, business, mathematics, or a related field; postgraduate studies are preferred.

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience developing executive-level dashboards and KPI frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics ecosystems and modern data platforms.
• Experience leading or mentoring other Business Insights professionals.
