LC/MS Analytical Chemist

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Onsite laboratory work is required.

Salary: $91,500–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution LC-MS instrumentation for routine and non-routine laboratory analyses.
• Develop and optimize HPLC and mass spectrometry-based methods for siRNA, formulations, and raw materials.
• Design impurity-profiling strategies for new development candidates and raw materials.
• Author method development, qualification, and test-method SOP documentation.
• Support method suitability assessments, qualification, validation, stability monitoring, OOS and deviation investigations, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project goals and research timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of laboratory experience; GMP experience is preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, multitasking, and results-oriented skills.
• Ability to independently operate instruments and perform routine and non-routine analyses after training.
• Ability to apply advanced scientific principles and standards to analytical development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agilent Q-ToF and MassHunter software.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and other software.
