What you will do

• Perform routine LC-MS/MS assays, including peptide mapping, intact mass analysis, and protein or small-molecule quantitation.
• Prepare samples, standards, mobile phases, buffers, and other laboratory solutions.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and monitor LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and UHPLC systems according to SOPs.
• Review, interpret, organize, and document analytical data and laboratory records.
• Identify unexpected results, troubleshoot basic instrument and method issues, and perform system suitability and QC checks.
• Support method optimization and validation while collaborating on project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS instrumentation and workflows, HPLC or UHPLC systems, sample preparation, and basic wet chemistry.
• Knowledge of protein and peptide characterization, biological or chemical sample matrices, and LC-MS/MS quantitation using MRM or SIR modes.
• Familiarity with GMP and applicable FDA and ICH regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, communication, and laboratory software skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with HPLC, UPLC, and mass spectrometry instrumentation.
• Knowledge of peptide synthesis and purification techniques.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
• Understanding of protein chemistry and post-translational modifications.
• HPLC certification.
