PLS Scientist I - Biopharma

Location: Onsite in Oakdale, Minnesota, United States; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year

Pace Life Sciences provides contract CMC development, CTM manufacturing, regulatory compliance, consulting, facility support, and analytical testing services for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and gene therapy companies.

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine chemistry and biochemistry analyses using HPLC, GC, LC-MS, FTIR, and other analytical instruments.
• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods in accordance with established procedures.
• Review, interpret, and document testing results, identify trends, and present conclusions and recommendations.
• Design and develop scalable formulations for small molecules and biologics supporting early-stage clinical trials.
• Support the development and optimization of drug-product manufacturing processes.
• Provide training and technical guidance on analytical tests, methods, instrumentation, and related procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field, plus 2–3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, formulation development, analytical testing, equipment calibration, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to operate analytical instruments and manufacturing equipment and train others in their use.
• Ability to interpret analytical data, prepare technical reports, communicate findings, and work both independently and as part of a project team.
• Ability to work onsite in Oakdale, Minnesota, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation, is required.
