What you will do

  • Design and execute in vitro and ex vivo assays evaluating siRNA delivery and function.
  • Develop human primary cell-based systems for erythroid biology research.
  • Support target validation and mechanism-of-action studies for siRNA therapeutics.
  • Establish and optimize multi-color flow cytometry panels and qPCR/RNA-based readouts.
  • Contribute to IND-enabling studies and related data packages.
  • Prepare technical reports, protocols, and study summaries, and present results to project teams.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree plus 2 years of scientific experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of scientific experience.
  • Experience with siRNA or RNA therapeutics, including delivery or functional assays.
  • Background in erythroid biology and hematopoiesis.
  • Strong experience with multi-color flow cytometry and cell-based functional assays.
  • Familiarity with gene expression, qPCR, RNA assays, and target engagement assays.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional drug discovery teams.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of hemoglobinopathies, conjugated delivery systems, CRISPR, or gene editing.
