Packaging Line Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Opelika, Alabama, United States; on-site manufacturing role

Salary: $37,000–$60,000 per year, plus potential annual performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust filling, labeling, and other packaging equipment.
• Package vitamin products in compliance with standard operating procedures, safety rules, and GMP requirements.
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues, using root cause analysis with training as needed.
• Track line efficiency and downtime while working to improve changeover times.
• Maintain accurate production, cleaning, and batch records.
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to support product quality and production efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or five years of equivalent related work experience.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and perform basic math in English; ability to understand procedures, packaging standards, batch records, and written and verbal instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for operating controls, hand tools, filling equipment, and labeling equipment.
• Ability to intermittently lift or move loads up to 50 pounds using pallet jacks or other mechanical aids.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the full shift and repeatedly pull, push, bend, and twist.
• This role does not offer immigration sponsorship or support, including Form I-983 STEM OPT training-plan completion.

• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or shipping.
• Lean manufacturing training or experience in continuous process improvement.
